What We Do

What We Do

To provide small and sick newborns access to NICU care

Low birth weight, preterm birth and birth complications in babies born before the gestational period, is one of the largest contributors to neonatal mortality rate (NMR) in India. NFI’s mission is to provide financial aid to such babies from underprivileged families, who need NICU care. Let’s together make an impact in saving lives of the little ones born too soon.

High risk pregnancy leading to birth complications and care in NICU.

Within the realm of neonatal healthcare in India, low birth weight, premature births, and birth complications among infants born before their due date represent a formidable challenge, contributing significantly to the neonatal mortality rate (NMR). At the heart of NFI’s mission lies a fervent commitment to extending financial support to these vulnerable newborns hailing from underprivileged families who require specialized care in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs). Our philosophy revolves on the frontlines of neonatal care, which is why we exclusively channel our financial assistance to our esteemed Partner Hospitals. For us, it’s not merely about writing checks, it’s about nurturing profound partnerships that breathe life into our vision. By steadfastly supporting our Partner Hospitals, we equip them with the vital resources necessary to administer critical care to these neonates hailing from underprivileged communities, affording them the best conceivable opportunity for a bright and healthy future. Together, let’s unite our efforts and make an indelible impact in preserving the lives of these precious little ones.
