Our Work.

What We Do

What We Do

To provide small and sick newborns access to NICU care

Low birth weight, preterm birth and birth complications in babies born before the gestational period, is one of the largest contributors to neonatal mortality rate (NMR) in India. NFI’s mission is to provide financial aid to such babies from underprivileged families, who need NICU care. Let’s together make an impact in saving lives of the little ones born too soon.

Financial assistance

to underprivileged families to treat critically ill newborns

Co-ordinate

the efforts of partner hospitals in care delivery

NICU on Wheels

for fast and effective care in remote or peripheral places

Awareness building on

High risk pregnancy leading to birth complications and care in NICU.

The sustainable development goal (SDG) 3.2 aims to reduce neonatal mortality to 12 deaths per 1000live births 2030. The current NMR in India is 23 deaths per 1000 live births. Though some states are doing good work as a national average there is a lot of work to be done.

We are working to contribute to reducing the new born deaths by providing financial assistance to those sections of society who might other wise not be able to access such facilities due to financial or geographical or any other reasons. In the process we are trying to save the precious lives of new born babies.
