Children across age & gender have a role to play for the betterment of the society. It is important to give children the opportunity to embrace social responsibility & help build their confidence, so that they can create positive impact in the society. “BrightSide” is an annual event, through which we aim to provide a platform to children across age and gender, contribute their skills & talent to the cause of Neonates Foundation of India.
It is important for children to feel that their voices are being heard and that they can play a significant role as change makers.
About the Music Event
Young and talented geniuses are putting together a musical event held together by Mr. Nagaraj Abhishek, Founder of Srikamal Musicals, to raise the soundbar for neonatal care for the less privileged. With the musical event, the children are going to create awareness about neonatal mortality in India, an issue that requires immediate attention and help raise funds to provide treatment for critically ill newborn babies from underserved families.
The event is mentored by Dr. Ashley Williams, who is founder director and conductor of Bangalore Musical Association. The design sequencing is done by Ms. Arati Punwani Sunawala.

Dr. Sunita Maheshwari
Dr. Sunita Maheshwari, a Yale medical school alumnus, Business world’s 20 most influential women in healthcare 2022, Outlook Business WOW 2019 (Woman of Worth), and 2014’s ‘Amazing Indian’ award by Times Now, is a parallel healthcare entrepreneur and is the Chief Dreamer and Co-Founder of The Telerad Group.
She is also active in the social arena in India where she runs 2 trust funds. People4people has put up over 530 playgrounds in government schools and Telrad Foundation provides teleradiology and telemedicine services to poor areas in Asia that do not have access to high-quality medical care. As part of their Board, she also chairs the CSR committees of both HDFC bank and GSK pharma in India.

Dr. Bindu Subramaniam
Dr. Bindu Subramaniam is an entrepreneur, singer/songwriter, and educator. She is the co-founder and CEO of SaPa and the lead vocalist of SubraMania and the Thayir Sadam Project.
She has been named an icon of South India 2021-22 by Femina magazine and won the 2022 Women Who Lead National Award for CEO of the Year – Art & Music.
In 2021, she had received four awards: she was named among Business World’s 40 under 40, Business World Disrupt’ s top women achievers, Adgully’s top women disruptors, and the Indian Achiever’s Club’s 40 under 40, and was named among GQ’s 25 most influential young Indians.
Dr. Bindu has been described as a “Bangalore woman educating children differently” by Femina and a “third generation prodigy” by the Hindustan Times. She has delivered multiple TEDx talks, has a regular column with The New Indian Express, and writes for the Economic Times HR, The Hindu, Education World, and other outlets.
She has a PhD in Music Education, an MPhil, a master’s certificate in song writing and music business, a diploma in Montessori education, BaLLB, LLM and completed the Stanford Seed Transformation Program.

Nagaraj Abhishek
Nagaraj Abhishek started learning music at the age of 4 years. He is a professional pianist, guitarist, programmer, arranger, music producer and instrumentalist. He runs an institution called ‘Srikamal Musicals’ which is associated with Trinity College London.
Additionally, he has over 13 years of experience teaching in the same field. He started his career as a music teacher at Hyderabad, further composing music for Kannada film industry.
He has also worked as a music arranger and keyboard programmer for “Gospel Albums”, which won International IMEA awards in the USA. More than 500+ students are being trained in all these instruments through Srikamal Musicals and 300+ have received certifications from the Trinity College, London.

Dr Ashley Williams
Dr. Ashley Williams Joseph is the Founder Director, and Conductor of the Indian National Symphony Orchestra.
Growing up as the son of musicians Maestro Joseph Thomas Williams and Mrs. Sarah Williams Joseph, he naturally was inclined towards music at a young age.
Dr. Williams was the only Indian to perform with the Asian Chorale during their tour of Sweden where they performed for the King and Queen.
